HackTheAlps is a nonprofit organization to empower software developers through new technologies and ideas. We are committed to provide a safe and welcoming space, without regard to age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, mental or physical disability, physical appearance, neuro(a)typicality, religion, level of knowledge, level of experience, parental status, marital status, socioeconomic status or background, political affiliation, or any other attribute.
Prerequisite for participants
Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate at hackathons organized by the HackTheAlps organization.
Uniqueness
The idea developed during the hackathon is not related to any already running business and no code has been written before the event. If participants use any previously created material, they will be asked to leave the event without any kind of reimbursement.
Foto and video material
With your registration to a hackathon organized by HackTheAlps you agree that foto and video material created during the hackathon can be published by HackTheAlps and its (media) partners and sponsors.
Deliverables
The HackTheAlps team can dismiss a participant from the hackathon at any time if the corresponding participant is showing some form of gross misconduct. In this case, the participant does not have any right of restitution (for example restitution of time or money).
Responsibility
Participants of HackTheAlps events are fully responsible for their own products and developed prototypes. The organizer of the event does not assume any responsibility or liability of damage.
Be on site!
Please note, that only people who are physically at the event can participate. It is not allowed to have support from remote. All the team members must be on site.
